Ideas for Use

There are a few ways you can use this Earth Day alphabet activity. First, kids can pick a letter card, then find it on the letter mat. Once they find the letter they trace or color it in.

Second, place the letter cards in a sensory bin. Kids can pick a letter card from the sensory bin and then, find and trace, or color in the letter on the mat.

Third, instead of having kids trace or color in the letters, have them cover the letters with small manipulatives. They could use mini erasers, glass beads, bingo chips, gems, pompoms, or play dough.
