Yarn Heart Valentine’s Day Crafts
This is a fun craft that turns out beautifully! It is great for young kids to work on their fine motor skills.

Materials
- Cardboard box
- Marker
- Box cutter
- Yarn
- Tape
- Scissors (optional)
Setting Up
Draw a heart on a cardboard box. Use box cutters to carefully cut out the heart. You can cut small slits along the edge of the heart to make it easier for the yarn to hold. Cutting small slits along the outside of the heart makes it easier for younger kids to wrap the yarn.
How to Make it
- Tape the end of the yarn to the back of the cardboard heart.
- Wrap the yarn around the heart in all directions. Wrap from top to bottom and side to side. Continue to wrap the heart until it is all covered.
- When the heart is covered and fully wrapped, cut the yarn and tie the loose end on the backside.
