Yarn Bat Craft for Kids
This fun Yarn Bat Craft for kids makes for a great fall and Halloween activity. It is also a great way for toddlers, preschool, kindergarten and primary school kids to build their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Yarn Bat Craft

MATERIALS
- Cardboard (an Amazon box works well for this)
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Ball of black yarn
- Tape

DIRECTIONS
1 – Download and print the bat template (found at the end of this post).

2 – Cut out the template and trace it onto a piece of cardboard.

3 – Next, cut out the bat shape from the cardboard.

4- Tape the end of the black yarn to the back of the cardboard.

5 – Wrap the yarn around the cardboard bat again and again going up and down and from side to side.

6 – When you are finished wrapping, cut the yarn and tape the end to the back side of the bat craft.

Now your yarn bat craft is ready to be displayed! You can lean it up on a shelf as a decoration or add a loop of yarn to hang it. How cute would a bunch of these be hanging around the classroom??
